What is Chiron?
A figure of Greek mythology, Chiron was held as the superlative centaur among his brethren, whose disciples included the great Achilles. A healer by virtue, he sacrificed his life allowing mankind to obtain the use of fire. Chiron was said to be the last centaur and highly revered as a teacher and tutor. To us, Chiron represents genuineness and sacrifice, the two ideals that make a social initiative complete.
How much time do we devote?
We meet bimonthly on alternate Thursdays. In addition, some time needs to beset aside for the fulfillment of the responsibilities undertaken during the aforesaid meetings. However, academic priorities are never compromised upon.
